About the Role
As a Tipsii Advisor, your job is straightforward: You help restaurants claim the IRS FICA Tip Credit, a federal program that refunds money they’re already owed.
There is no selling, no fees, no pressure, and no obligation for the restaurant. You’re simply helping owners recover money that belongs to them.
This is a 1099, commission-based position with unlimited earning potential. Advisors typically earn:
5% of the CPA filing fee
Small filings: around $150
Average filings: around $750
Large refunds: $7,500+
Your income is directly tied to effort — but the process is so simple that even new Advisors gain traction quickly.
What You’ll Be Doing
Connect with restaurant owners (in person or virtually)
Share information on the IRS FICA Tip Credit
Help them submit basic documents to initiate their claim
Follow up as needed until submission
The CPA firm handles all filing and calculations — you just facilitate the introduction
